The Sparkfun LilyPad MP3 is a versatileaudio player, including anArduinocompatible microcontroller. The module allows you to easily add sound files to your project. It has a built-inVS1053B audio decoderplaying MP3 (and other formats),micro-SD card slot andstereo amplifier.
The SparkFun LilyPad MP3 is part of theE-textilesline, which allows you to create interactive clothes, gifts or other projects by adding music files that can be easily placed on a micro-SD memory card. The board can be powered by a3.7-voltLi-Pol batteryoran external power supply from 3.5 to6 volts.
