for this reason, in order to get the best possible sound quality, it is worth building <strong>your own headphone amplifier<\/strong>.<br \/>\nSuch a device can be built using readily available low-cost electronic components, such as the J-FET TL072 dual <a href=\"https:\/\/botland.com.pl\/119-wzmacniacze-operacyjne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">operational amplifier<\/a> manufactured by Texas Instruments.  <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0783b6d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0783b6d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">TL072 amplifier<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">  features a low input unbalance voltage (typically 1mV), a high voltage rise rate (13V\/\u00b5s) and a low co-signal attenuation factor with respect to the positive supply voltage rail.<br \/>\nFor these reasons, the TL072 is a great choice for applications where the key   <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">low cost of implementation and high efficiency of operation<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">.<br \/>\nPrezentowany tutaj obw\u00f3d wzmacniacza s\u0142uchawkowego Hi-Fi, wykorzystuje niskoszumowy wzmacniacz operacyjny TL072 do selektywnego wzmacniania sygna\u0142y z kana\u0142u lewego i prawego &#8211; poniewa\u017c oba kana\u0142y s\u0142uchawek s\u0105 takie same, wyja\u015bnimy jak dzia\u0142a po prostu jeden z nich.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p>At the input J1, an input signal is applied, which passes through capacitor C1 designed to eliminate the DC component from the input signal.<br \/>\nThe volume of the input signal is adjusted by potentiometer VR1.<br \/>\nThis results in an output impedance of 47k, which is equal to the resistance of potentiometer VR1.<br \/>\nIn this circuit, both channels of the TL072 operate in a <strong>non-inverting amplifier<\/strong> configuration.<br \/>\nThe output of the left channel is at pin 1 of the TL072 amplifier, and the polarizing current is applied to the bases of transistors Q1 and Q2, and resistors R3 and R4 configure these transistors to operate in class A. The most important elements of the topology working in class A, are two other resistors viz.<br \/>\nR5 and R6.<br \/>\nThese are needed to improve the stability of the output, setting the level of the feedback signal there.<br \/>\nThe inverting input of the TL072 operational amplifier receives the feedback signal when resistor R2 is turned on.<br \/>\nThe values of resistors R1 and R2 determine the gain of the operational amplifier.        <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-30c2221 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"30c2221\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">TL072 in the role of microphone preamplifier<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-bebe53c elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"bebe53c\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-b101a2c\" data-id=\"b101a2c\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-da7a180 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"da7a180\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Based on the TL072 IC, we can also build<strong> a microphone preamplifier<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe principle of this circuit is as follows &#8211; then only the 1.5k resistor determines the gain by setting it to 23.<br \/>\nA 10uF capacitor in the lower half of the feedback loop reduces the DC gain to approx.<br \/>\nunity.          <\/p>\n<p>If any DC input offset is amplified, it would cause a larger offset at the output, pushing the output level toward one of the rails and reducing the supply.<br \/>\nAt a gain of 23, with the expected input levels, this probably doesn&#8217;t matter.<br \/>\nAn optional 2pF capacitor, relative to a 33k resistor, sets the high-frequency drop.<br \/>\nThe cutoff frequency is in the hundreds of kHz.<br \/>\nIt needs to go further than 20 kHz to keep the phase shift small at audio frequencies, and also because the output power starts to drop long before the signal is cut off.<br \/>\nOperational amplifiers can&#8217;t maintain enough gain at these frequencies anyway, and their output power will already be dropping, but the limitation makes the circuit more stable, though it will probably work without it.<br \/>\nIt is likely that the 2pF capacitance will come directly from the PCB paths, and operational amplifiers are quite well compensated these days, so it is not really needed.      <\/p>\n<p>The 100R resistors serve in part to limit current and protect the operational amplifier in the event of a shorted output, but operational amplifiers have internal protection anyway.<br \/>\nThey mainly allow the operational amplifier to control capacitive loads without oscillation.<br \/>\nA 2.2uF capacitor at the output blocks DC current, and the value is not particularly important.<br \/>\nThis capacitor also forms a high-pass filter with a 10k potentiometer.<br \/>\nThis application also provides reverse-polarity supply voltage protection in the form of a series rectifying diode.    <\/p><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this article we will look at how the operational amplifier TL072, can be useful to us for the implementation of electroacoustic circuits.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":21,"featured_media":91045,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[7,179],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-91049","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-elektronika","category-kompendium"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>TL072 - What is it and what is it used for? - Botland<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Read our article on: TL072 - What is it and what is it used for?.
