Main features of the ADXL357 accelerometer

  • Minimal drift with respect to temperature, long-term stability, enables precision applications with little calibration
  • Hermetic housing provides excellent long term stability, 0 g temperature drift (all axes): 0.75 mg/°C maximum
  • Very low noise density (all axes): 80 μg/√Hz
  • Built-in 20-bit anlog-to-digital converter (ADC)
  • Two interrupt output channels
  • Supports FIFO (96*21-bit)

Applications

  • Inertial Measurement Units (IMU) / Attitude and Heading Reference Systems (AHRS)
  • Platform stabilization systems
  • Condition monitoring
  • Seismic imaging
  • Roll detection
  • Robotics

Pinouts of ADXL357 module

The module is equipped with a Grove connector, which makes it much easier to connect to a host module such as Arduino. It communicates via I2C interface:

  • GND:system ground
  • VCC:supply voltage, from 3.3 V to 5 V
  • SDA:I2C bus data line
  • SCL:I2C bus clock line
