Waveshare JeTank is a tracked robot platform that requires the Nvidia Jetson Nano minicomputer to work properly. The Nvidia Jetson Nano module with the IMX219 camera included in the set allows the robot to track objects using artificial intelligence (AI) . The JeTank robot is equipped with a metal arm based on high-quality SCS15-AP digital servos with metal modes . The kit also includes an extension for Jetson Nano in the form of an AC8265 wireless communication module with antennas, an OLED display and a gripper. The Nvidia Jetson Nano module is not included.
The manufacturer has prepared a user guide with assembly instructions and the codes of sample programs.

The JeTank robot is based on a very efficient minicomputer - Nvidia Jetson Nano . This minicomputer is a small but very efficient module with 472 GFLOPS allowing for quick implementation of AI (artificial intelligence) algorithms. Nvidia Jetson Nano is equipped with a quad-core ARM Cortex-A57 processor and a 128-core Maxwell graphics chip . It is widely used in projects that use deep learning, machine vision, GPU computing, multimedia processing and much more. It supports many popular frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyToch, Caffe / Caffe2, Keras, MXNet, and many more.
To work properly, the platform requires the Nvidia Jetson Nano minicomputer, which is not included in the kit, it can be purchased separately.
The robot is powered by three Li-Ion 18650 batteries, the length of the batteries should not exceed 67 mm.
High-quality platform with motors and a robot arm
The JeTank robot platform is made of aluminum. Inside the case there is a place for the Nvidia Jetson Nano module with the JeTank robot motherboard. The tracked robot is equipped with quiet, high-quality, corrosion-resistant carbon motors. A 4-DOF robot arm ended with a gripper was placed on the platform. The arm consists of four high-quality digital servos equipped with metal modes. Servos work in the range of 180 °, are characterized by high torque and long service life.

The JeTank set includes an 8 MPx 3280 x 2464 px camera with an IMX219 sensor, which in combination with Nvidia Jetson Nano is able to use artificial intelligence to avoid obstacles and follow given objects and to recognize objects. The use of deep learning algorithms allows the robot to distinguish objects, thanks to which it will be able to move autonomously, without human interference. The robot can also be controlled by the controller via radio, using a USB receiver.
