Description
Extension for Photon, allowing the module to be powered with a single-target battery Li-Pol, and also enabling charging with the suppied system MCP73831 and MAX1704X to measure the capacity of the battery. The module has a JST connector for battery connection. The extension has soldered connectors, which allow to directly connect the attached module to the board.
Inputs
Plate has soldered connectors for direct connection of the module to the board. On the board, except for the soldered connectors, there are holes with the Photon inputs and a jumper:
- Alert: after itsclosing, it is possible to read information about the battery level pin D6, by default the jumper is open.
- Pull-ups: extension has two resistors to 10Ohms on the SDA and SCL lines (D0 and D1). In the case of using multiple I2C devices it should be turned off. Jumper by default closed.
