Plate made of high quality spring steel, covered on both sides with powder-coated PEI. It has a textured (rough) surface. The product is an original consumable part of the 3D printer manufacturer Prusa. It is compatible with Prusa Mini+ model.

PEI plates are a consumable part of the 3D printer and are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, because the feature of their coverage is gradual wear. The exception is when the product defect occurred due to a manufacturing or material defect. Cosmetic damage including scratches, dents, cracks and others are also not covered by the warranty. Only discs delivered with manufacturing defects are covered by the warranty.
Thebottom of the print is made on a textured plate.
Features of the PEI spring steel textured boards
- High scratch resistance
- Surface texture transfers to the bottom print layer
- Live Z alignment does not need to be so precise
- Does not require the use of separator (eg Windex) under PETG filament
- Does not require the use of glue under flexible filaments
- Prints peel off automatically after cooling the surface of the plate
- The first layer can be more compressed in comparison with a smooth plate
Recommendations for use
- PLA models with a small surface area may need an additional border (brim)
- Large PLA models may experience print curl
- Requires changing the Live Z (if previously using a smooth plate)
- Do not use acetone to clean the surface of the plate
- Clean the plate when cold with approx 90% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or denatured alcohol
