Product description: Kunbus Gateway Module for Profibus
ThePROFIBUSgateway has been developed by the companyKunbusThe gateway is designed to eliminate the costs associated with changing the communication protocol in a project. Often a protocol change requires the replacement of the entire device including the main controller, thanks to the modular design modules can be used interchangeably. The module allows communication by means ofPROFIBUS DP-V0 protocoland is available inSlaveversion. For communication it uses D-SUB 9F connector, its maximum throughput is12 Mb/s. The single module has dimensions of22.5 x 101.4 x 115 mmand is mounted on DIN rail. The gateway connects to the main module via aPlug & Play jumper. The gateways are equipped with an integrated web server, program parts are updated viaFTPserver. The maximum power is3 W, the voltage tolerance is between 15 % and 20 %. The modular system allows simple configuration of the gateways by plug-in connection or adaptation by module replacement. Using a jumper, two protocols can be combined with a complete gateway. The gateway can be combined with e.g. theRevPi DIOmodule together withRevPi Core.
