Product description: SparkFun MicroMod Data Logging Carrier Board - DEV-16829
Board produced by SparkFun designed for MicroMod series modules equipped with M.2. MicroMod connector. Data Logging allows recording data read by MicroMod main module. The board also features a Qwiic connector for communication over the I2C interface, as well as 2.54 mm raster GPIO connectors that host interfaces such as SPI and UART for logging data from peripherals using these communication protocols. The module also provides power control for the Qwiic connector and the 3.3 V bus, for peripherals. It also has a charging circuit for lithium-ion batteries through the JST connector. MicroMod is a modular interface in the form of modules with microcontrollers, which can be easily interchanged with MicroMod M.2 interface motherboards. Modules can be easily swapped if a different communication interface is needed for a given project.

In conjunction with the RPi Pico, the board can be used for prototyping, as well as to create original projects of varying complexity. For temporary connection you can use hooks, while for permanent one, it is definitely better to solder wires, sensors or other accessories.
