The principle of operation of the module
The module's interior consists of two IR parts: the transmitter and receiver sides. The role of the receiver in this case is played by a silicon phototransistor. The transmitter sends infrared waves, while the receiver is to detect them. Infrared is emitted directly - the signal reaches the receiver without problems if there is no object between the receiver and the transmitter. An electrical field interruption is detected in a similar way.
