Description
Wifi module of low power, designed to use in embedded systems and not only, it uses the so-called transparent mode, RS232 communication. It has AP, STA and AP+STA modes. In each configuration, the module provides access to basic configuration functions using the embedded websites in Polish. The module has a proprietary firmware from the Atnel company.
Below is a video demonstratingthe appfor quick setup of wi-fi modules on Android.
The module provides for connection of the external antenna of 2.4 GHz using the U.FL slot. The module is powered by 3.3 V voltage, at maximum power, the transmitter can consume up to 200 mA.
The manufacturer has also prepared an additional AT commands:
- AT+GMT - downloading the accurate time with NTP from any time zone
- AT+WOL - waking-up the external devices, e.g. PC using the WOL function (Wake On LAN) - magic packet
- AT+REMOTE -check the IP address of the remote client which recently merged with the module (only in TCP mode)
