Switchfrom F-plugto antenna outlet. It allows you toeasilyconnect a coaxial cable terminated with an F-plug to a device equipped withan antenna connector, this type of connector is used in many TV devices, e.g.DVB-T tuners.
What does a coaxial cable consist of?
Coaxial cables consist of:
- Internal conductor- usually made of copper. The wire is in the central part of the cable.
- Dielectric- filling made of plastic to isolate the inner conductor from the rest of the elements.
- Screen and braid- these two elements are usually made of copper or aluminum, their task is to protect the cable against electromagnetic interference.
- Outer sheath- the outer sheath of the cable is usually made of PE or PVC. It protects the whole cable against mechanical and atmospheric damage.
