CopperSAT Fconnector used as a coaxial cable termination. This type of connector is commonly used in TV devices such as set-top boxes orDVB-Treceivers. The use of connectors withthreadedmount significantly facilitates connection of the antenna cable to our device.
What kind of elements does the coaxial cable consist of
Coaxial cables, consisting of several layers:
- The inner conductor- placed in the center of the cable. Most often made of copper, there are also cables made of a copper steel wire, aluminum wire or steel cord.
- Dielectric- internal insulation to insulate the inner conductor.
- Screen- protects the signal against electromagnetic interference. Most commonly found in the form of aluminum foil, copper or aluminum braid.
- External sheath- protects the cable against mechanical damage, moisture and UV radiation.
