Product description: Wireless WiFi communication module - WisBlock IO extension - Rak Wireless RAK2305
RAK2305extension is a module designed to work with the WisBlock Base Board RAK5005-O. It provideswirelessWiFicommunicationfor the assembled system. The core of the module is ESP32-WROVER-B with built-in PCB antenna. IO module can operate in 2.4 GHz WiFi network and supportBluetoothcommunication. It can be programmed from the Espressif AT command interface. It also provides optional flashing capability using custom software. The extension needs a connection to theWisBlock Base BoardandWisBlock Coredevelopment modules to work properly.

WisBlock System Composition.WisBlock series
WisBlockseries modules produced byRak Wireless. They allow to makeextended IoT projects, which can be used in advanced scenarios and in basic projects. WisBlock system includes: WisBlockBase Board, WisBlockCoredeveloper module, WisBlockSensorsand WisBlockIO expansionmodules. They are used for rapid deployment of engineering prototypes, and are also designed to create massive applications ready for industrial deployment.
WisBlock IO Extensions
WisBlockIOmodules allow to extend projects and scenarios with additional interfaces, sensors and communication extensions. They also enable connection of modules from outside the WisBlock series. They are assembled according to the scheme shown in the photo opposite. Before commissioning, make sure that the module is properly attached. For proper operation they require connection with WisBlockCoredevelopment module and WisBlockBase Board.
