CD4017 is a decimal counter/decoder manufactured in CMOS technology equipped with 10 decoded outputs. Each output represents 1 state out of 10 possible, allowing sequential control of various devices or electronic components. As a decimal counter, the CD4017 is extremely useful in applications where sequential logic is required, such as automatons, sequential control devices and alarm systems. How is it built? Basic information about CD4017

How is the CD4017 chip built?

The reset input, on the other hand, is used to reset the counter to its initial state. Its use allows precise control of the timing and sequence of operation of various system components, thereby increasing its efficiency and reliability.
