With CR-5 Pro, Creality has once again solidified its position in the professional 3D printer market. The Crealtiy CR-5 Pro H High Temp Version will soon be in our hands.
Upgraded Creality CR-5 Pro H model offers a working area of 300 x 225 x 380 mm. The printer is aimed not only at home 3D printing enthusiasts, but also at schools and work environments in a broad sense.
Creality CR-5 Pro H, as befits all Creality 3D printers, looks quite sophisticated. What we get is a truly elegant design. There are ivory-colored aluminum chamber, clear-blue acrylic door and transparent side panels. Last two components allow you to monitor live prints without having to think about additional monitoring solutions, while still creating an enclosed, safe and sound-reducing print chamber. This is intended to guarantee stable conditions for working with temperature-sensitive materials such as ABS filament, although this is not the only filament we can print with the CR-5 Pro H.
Safe, enclosed chamber
An enclosed chamber is obligatory for ensuring proper, consistent temperatures when printing with ABS. It protects entire work environment, including the user, of course, from potential fumes, dust, and other contaminants that shouldn’t be there, adds additional purely mechanical protection, and helps to dampen the sound of the 3D printer a bit. When printing with PLA filament, you can, of course, open the door to allow airflow, and it’s even worth it, as PLA printing results are better when the chamber is properly ventilated.
Rock solid construction
The stability and security of the Creality CR-5 Pro H, in addition to the case, is provided by a sturdy metal construction frame. It is like another layer of protection against damage from everyday use and more serious damage. For all its strength, it remains handy and provides compact access to everything you need, because to get to the work area with our prints, all you have to do is open the transparent front door or remove the top cover.
Carborundum glass
An increasingly common element that is slowly becoming the standard, or perhaps will be the absolute standard. Carborundum, or silicon carbide, is a ceramic material that provides high temperature stability and even appears as heat shields in space vehicles. 3D printers are talking about reinforced carborundum glass. High hardness, resistance to wear – it is carborundum that allows to strengthen the surface of the working table of the selected 3D printer, including Creality CR-5 Pro H, and ensure, above all, perfect adhesion of the first layers of the created printout.
High Temp version – working at extreme temperatures
A nice feature of Creality CR-5 Pro H hidden in the name itself is its resistance to high temperatures, or rather we should say: better high temperature capabilities. Compared to its older sister, the base model Creality CR-5 Pro, where the maximum nozzle temperature was up to 250°C, in the H version the maximum temperature was increased up to 300°C. The design of the printer required improved cooling, and so it happened – effective heat removal will provide a new fan with increased power.

Weight, dimensions of the printer and the work area – those have remained unchanged. An important novelty is an increased nozzle temperature. We can conveniently control the whole system with the 4.3” touch screen display. We can also count on the feedback from the filament sensor about the exhaustion or damage of the printing material, the function of resuming the printing after restoring the power and a metal extruder with a double gear ratio for increased extrusion power.
