What is Palette 2S and Palette 2S Pro?
For 3D printing, Palette Mosaic is like reinventing the wheel.
The Mosaic products create an efficient system for combining different colors of filaments. Thanks to the welding set and precise electronics, the material can be fed without delay in printing. The Palette 2S allows printers to print in multiple colors even if they have just one print head. However, the real uniqueness of Palette lies in the fact that, above all, you get the possibility to combine up to four different colors.
Four filaments and one print head
Palette 2S allows the use of up to four different materials, thanks to which owners of printers with one nozzle can use several filaments of one type at the same time. There is a separate device section for each material, and each of these sections is equipped with precise stepper motors and filament end sensors.
In addition to the ability to print in many colors and with multiple materials, we can use the material finishing mode and combine multiple spools into one material with little remaining material.
A wide range of materials for 3D printing
One of the most interesting features of the Palette 2S is undoubtedly the ability to combine filaments. This accessory for 3D printing works in a wide range of temperatures – so wide that we can virtually forget about the differences in operating temperature requirements of 3D printing for a particular type of filament.

Purpose and compatibility of Palette Mosaic
Thanks to the software with a wide range of settings, we can use the Palette 2S Pro device with any 3D printer suitable for using a filament with a diameter of 1.75 mm. Mosaic is also perfect for owners of budget printers.
The selection of 3D printing elements is possible thanks to the software, so we can freely change the material for the selected detail. The control program is available both in a browser version and in a downloadable version for computers with the following systems:
- Windows
- Mac OS X
- Linux.
The software allows you to store models in the cloud.

What about the Palette 2S and 2S Pro versions?
The 2S Pro version has a larger package of spare parts included in the kit compared to the 2S. In addition, the Pro version is equipped with a filament bonding system consisting of a more efficient heater and an aerospace-grade aluminum housing. With greater temperature tolerance, the unit heats up faster and allows for an average of 20% faster bonding of filament pieces.
