What’s New at Botland? #40

Reading time: 3 min.

40 episodes passed like a day… pity they’re not all in English. Speaking of the day, let’s talk about the week – we used to come here every two weeks, every second Friday. Now we come back every month, because density of blog topics is crazy, not to mention summer coming soon and we have a lot to catch up on. Fortunately, new products come to us in a steady stream and there is always something new. If only we could, the What’s New at Botland series would be a daily feature!

Botland is new official distributor of Creality brand

New products aren’t the only news. As the first e-commerce company in Poland, we have joined the group of official distributors of Creality, a well-known brand in the world of 3D printers. And it makes us truly happy!

For many years, Creality Ender series, CR series and resin printers have been appreciated by fans all over the world. June brought us new opportunities to provide you with those devices you like most, but under the aegis of official distribution in Poland and Europe. This fruitful partnership of Botland and Creality would not be the same without thousands – yes, so many of you have already trusted us! – owners of Creality 3D printers, who have decided to buy at Botland store. Perhaps you are among them? And if you are not yet familiar with Creality printers, then nothing is lost – in the near future and with full responsibility, we promise increased availability of both Creality printers and accessories .

Self-levelling table sensor for 3D printers
AntClabs BLTouch 3.1

A badly set table at a garden party is a terrible thing. The clatter of a foot will drive you mad, the tea in the glass has a higher rim on one side…. and 3D printing on a crooked work surface in a 3D printer just doesn’t cope at all. Such a design flaw is not uncommon in the overall evaluation of the equipment and many classify it as unfit for purpose. Owners of numerous models of really good 3D printers struggle with this problem and among the community hears opinions such as: if only it wasn’t for this table, I would give six stars, and so it is a pity to talk… Fortunately, we have a solution to this problem.

The BL Touch levelling sensor (familiar term) is based on a semiconductor Hall sensor. With it, we can precisely measure the inclination of the working table surface, calibrate planes of different materials. Main components of the BLTouch sensor are RC servo and a microswitch. As for the actual compatibility, don’t miss the helping blue frames on the product page – the manufacturer has prepared a guide to help you install the sensor, and the user manual will clearly show you how to proceed if you need to solder a component.

Fiberlogy PCTG filaments

It’s not a typo – the disappearing E replaced by C stands for a slightly different polymer, but from the same family as PETG filaments. PCTG filament is a dream alternative for it. Its most important physical properties include increased impact strength, up to twenty times higher than in PETG, temperature resistance and clarity.

It does not require a heated working chamber – a nice convenience. It provides high dimensional stability and low shrinkage prevents model breakage. PCTG can also withstand higher temperatures and is recyclable.

New Royal Resin epoxy resin dyes

A hit from earlier this year. Do you remember the resin-ornamented countertops resembling the flowing rivers of Babylon? The actual popularity of many articles is determined by their appearance, but Royal Resin epoxy resins have won our hearts not only with their beautiful appearance when decorated.

They offer amazing possibilities for decorating utilitarian and/or typically ornamental objects. They are loved by furniture designers, carpenters, independent artists and all those who want to refresh the style of a chosen surface in an original way. Besides, we finally had a chance to go really wild with photos.
