New year – new products to find in Botland. If one of your New Year’s resolutions was to refresh your technological wardrobe, you have come to the right place. Here is an overview of new products that have arrived on the shelves of our shop.
Control panel for 3D printers from Creality
Another interesting product created by Creality company has appeared in our shop. Touch control panel can be used in all 3D printers that work based on Marlin software.
The 5-inch screen with a resolution of 854 x 480 px provides a clear menu, which is additionally wrapped in a graphical user interface created in the Cyberpunk effect. Such a striking panel shows a print preview of the Gcode model with dedicated slicer software, indicates errors in the selected file and shows the print progress. An interesting additional feature is the so-called “skin effect”, which gives animal models the effect of real fur. The control panel also features a USB port for connecting a USB memory stick and a microSD card slot. In our shop it is available in a set, which also includes a filament sensor, thanks to which the screen will inform the user of its absence or interruption.
Creality Ender-2 Pro
3D printers are an ever-growing branch of electronics, so every now and then we can expect novelties with very diverse parameters and possible applications. As an example, let’s take our latest acquisition from the Creality stable, that is the Ender-2 Pro model. The device belongs to the group of smaller 3D Printers – its dimensions are only 421 x 383 x 465 mm. With a weight of just over 4.5 kilograms and a special handle on top of it, the device is perfect for people who have limited space in their studios and for those who appreciate mobility.
The Ender-2 Pro is very easy to use. The device is designed in a manner consistent with the principles of user friendly trend. Using it should not cause any problems even to less experienced 3D printing adepts. The manufacturer has even thought about the assembly of the device and emphasises that the device delivered to the customer is assembled in 90%. Final assembly is very simple and requires only seven screws. The entire process should not take more than a couple of minutes. After completing just a few simple steps, the user can enjoy a ready-to-use 3D printer.
Key features that the Ender-2 Pro boasts include:
- A convenient drawer for storing, for example, small printer consumables
- Easy-to-use belt tensioner. Helps prevent problems such as layer slippage caused by inadequate belt tension
- Attached display that can be removed and re-attached at any time
- Magnetic cap on the heating table
- Movable filament holder, the position of which can be adjusted according to the available space
Kailh Big Mechanical Key Switch
For the greatest gadget lovers who are constantly on the hunt for something interesting, we also have something new. And it’s four times more interesting because it’s four times bigger than a normal MX switch.

Here is a large, fully functional mechanical switch – the Kailh Big Mechanical Key Switch. The dimensions of the switch without the cap are 62.4 x 55.8 x 55.8 mm, and the caps themselves are offered in several colours to choose from. The operating voltage of the switch is from 2 V to 12 V AC / DC and the current from 10 μA to 10 mA. The range of these values makes the buttons successfully applicable in a wide variety of projects.
MacroPad pushbutton board
Staying on the topic of buttons, now instead of size let’s go for quantity. Another curiosity for clickers will surely be the Adafruit MacroPad RP2040 Starter Kit, which is a 3×4 button array. Also on board are a 128 x 64 px OLED screen, a rotary encoder and one Qwiic/STEMMA QT connector, for connecting other I2C devices.
The MacroPad module features an array of 12 Kailh mechanical switches with RGB NeoPixel backlighting. The holes are compatible with any Cherry MX compatible switch. Button board allows assigning the execution of a given system function or application to a button from the board (so-called macros). The module is based on an efficient, dual-core microcontroller RP2040, to which the manufacturer of this board – Adafruit added 8 MB of flash memory. We also have here a built-in speaker, which can transmit sound information or play various melodies.
As you can see, there is quite a lot going on on the board, and the whole thing can be programmed in the CircuitPython or Arduino environment, e.g. to display a map of buttons, statistics, computer performance, etc.
Li-Pol rechargeable batteries
A large group of lithium-polymer batteries from Redox has recently been added to our offer. We are certain that thanks to a wide range of available voltages and capacities, everyone will find a suitable pack for their needs. Redox packs have a long and narrow shape. Battery terminals are wires with DEAN socket and 3EModel/Redox balancer output. This type of power source is often used in modelling and robotics.
