No soldering!
Z-Uno 2 Shield is incredibly easy to connect, allowing you to integrate multiple Smart Home devices and sensors without the need for soldering. This allows you to easily expand your home automation system by connecting devices according to the following possibilities:
- Four analog outputs from 0 V to 10 V - ideal for controlling industrial dimmers.
- Up to four PWM or switch outputs (up to 5A per channel) - allow you to control contactors, switches, halogen bulbs or LED strips.
- Up to eight 0/3 V digital inputs or outputs - perfect for connecting a variety of digital sensors and low voltage devices.
- Up to four 0/3, 0/5 or 0/12 V digital inputs or analog inputs - allowing connection of 10 V industrial sensors or any Arduino compatible sensors.
- RS485 or UART - for connecting industrial meters and devices communicating via these interfaces.
- OneWire - to support DS18B20 sensors and other devices operating on this bus.
For those who want to add their own touch, the shield also has a prototyping area where you can solder additional components.
No programming required!
The Z-Uno Shield Configurator provided by the manufacturer makes it even easier to use the Z-Uno 2 Shield. This tool will not only help you connect the shield correctly, but will also automatically generate a Z-Uno sketch. This way, even people with no programming experience can easily configure their devices.
Z-Uno Shield Configurator allows you to create:
- Dimmers and blinds
- Switches, sirens, valves and door locks
- Sensors
- Thermostats
However, if you wish, you can edit the generated code or write your own sketch, adapting your devices to your specific needs.
