The task of sensors in intelligent installations is to provide appropriate signals for measuring systems through feedback. In response to signals from the sensors, the control system sets the output parameters so as to obtain the desired final effect in the form of e.g. intensity and colour of light, temperature and humidity, and by issuing a low or high logic state - opening or closing the door, starting lighting, anti-theft alarm or fire protection system.
