The Kitronik Electro-Fashion conductive thread spool, which is 6 meters long, is the perfect solution for designing smart clothing . The thread can be used both for hand sewing and for sewing with a machine (after winding the thread on the appropriate spool). Conducting electricity through it is possible thanks to the coating with a thin layer of silver . It consists of 96 individual fibers that have been braided and then connected in pairs. Three such pairs of fibers are, in turn, braided into the final thread, the strength of which is approximately 4.2 kg. The resistance of the thread is approximately 80 Ω per meter.
