SenseCAP S800 V2 is an advanced weather sensor designed to provide precise and comprehensive monitoring of environmental conditions. It measures eight key parameters: air temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction (using ultrasonic technology), PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations and noise level . It is designed to work in extreme conditions, its operating temperature range is from -40°C to 85°C, and its tightness class is IP66 . The sensor uses RS485 (MODBUS-RTU) and SDI-12 interfaces , which facilitates its integration with various data recording systems. The set also includes a 3 m cable , a USB Type-C cable , mounting screws and a flat washer to open the communication port.

Modbus RTU RS485 and SDI-12 communication protocols
RS485 is a data transmission standard enabling serial communication over long distances and in difficult environmental conditions . It is often used in industrial systems due to its ability to maintain reliable communication even in the presence of electromagnetic interference.
SDI-12 is an interface standard for connecting microprocessors with environmental sensors, where the number "12" means 1200 baud, i.e. the data transmission speed.
