Product description: Raspberry Pi Debug Probe - USB debugger for Raspberry Pi Pico
The Raspberry Pi Debug Probe is an all-in-one device for serial debugging via USB , it also functions as a UART bridge. It allows you to debug Raspberry Pi Pico / RP2040 programs via USB - SWD and UART bridge. Which means Debug Probe can be used as debugger and serial console for Pico. The module contains all the necessary elements and cables for plug & play debugging of the Raspberry Pi Pico board, as well as other platforms based on microcontrollers and microprocessors.
What is the Raspberry Pi Debug Probe?
The Raspberry Pi Debug Probe provides both a serial debug interface (the default is ARM Serial Wire Debug - SWD) and an industry standard serial interface. Both interfaces use the Raspberry Pi Pico H 3-pin debug connector .
Primarily designed for use with the Raspberry Pi Pico , the Debug Probe provides the CMSIS-DAP debug standard and a UART interface via USB. It can also be used with other platforms with microcontrollers or microprocessors.
The Raspberry Pi Debug Probe was based on the RP2040 chip and runs the Raspberry Pi Picoprobe software . The software update is done in the same way as in the Raspberry Pi Pico.
The Picoprobe documentation is located in the Pico Getting Started Guide on the "Appendix A: Using Picoprobe" page.
