The Pololu step-down converter operates with an input voltage ranging from 7.5 V to 45 V. Thanks to the use of pulse converter technology (SMPS), this regulator is much more efficient than traditional linear regulators, especially with large differences between the input and output voltage. The D30V30F7 provides a constant output voltage of 7.5 V with an accuracy of 4% and a typical maximum continuous current capacity of 2 A to 3.5 A , depending on operating conditions. This module is equipped with a range of protection functions such as reverse voltage protection up to 40V, undervoltage lockout, overcurrent protection, short circuit protection and thermal shutdown. Additionally, the soft start function limits the starting current by gradually increasing the output voltage at startup. The regulator also has an integrated "power good" indicator, which informs about the stability of the output voltage. With compact dimensions of 17.8 x 20.3 x 9 mm, the D30V30F7 is easy to integrate into a variety of electronics projects. The set includes a goldpin strip for self-soldering. Using it, you can plug the module directly into the contact plate .

  • VOUT - output voltage 7.5 V
  • GND - system ground
  • VIN - input voltage from 7.5 V to 45 V
  • EN - allows you to control the regulator's operation by setting it to low or high
  • PG - open-drain "Power Good" pin. Goes low when the regulator output voltage increases more than 7.5% above or drops more than 9% below the nominal voltage (with hysteresis). If this pin is used, a pull-up resistor must be connected.
