The sound source and communication interface are selected via a switch located on the board.

Possibilities of using the voice recognition module
The voice recognition module from the manufacturer DFRobot allows you to control devices by voice, without the need to connect to the Internet. Potential applications for such a sensor include: Smart Home devices, toys, robots, and voice assistants. The additional functionality offered by the Gravity module may be particularly useful in these cases: the ability to remember new voice commands and wake up the device with a dedicated sequence by voice. The 17 sounds that the sensor can remember do not have to include only words and their compounds, but any sounds, such as a dog barking. Thanks to the built-in loudspeaker , our device can actively respond to the user's spoken sentences.
