The 3B plus mini-computer has messed up the mainstream market. Shortly after its appearance on sale, Raspberry Pi 3A+ was released, which also aroused great interest among Raspberry fans. It combines everything that was considered to be an asset of previous versions; thus it satisfies the needs of many users. It has the dimensions of RPi 1 Model A+, so its size is only 65 x 56.5 mm. However, it has developed a powerful computing performance and definitely stands out for its enormous possibilities to communicate with its environment. The new radio module works very well in place of the Ethernet interface. A single USB A port is available to you. However, you can increase the number of ports by purchasing a USB hub.
There are many similarities between Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ and Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+. Both operate on 4-core 64-bit Broadcom BCM2837 chip. Clock frequency up to 1.4 GHz is also possible. Both Raspberries have a dual-band 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz WiFi module, but the smaller version has been deprived of half of the RAM, but 512 MB is also very powerful mini-computer. In addition, Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ has an LCD display, HDMI connectors and of course a camera socket.
