In order for the microcontroller to participate in the process of obtaining and gathering the measurement data of the GPS system must be connected to appropriate external equipment, which has realized this process. With our software interface module Grove GPS UART, equipped with an antenna, you can handle up to 66 channels. The module features high sensitivity, up to -160dBm, making perfect device projects that implement a navigation service and location. The data transfer speed can be set in the range from 9600 to 115200 b/sec. The module is based on the famous ESP8266 chip and allows for communication of the microcontroller with external devices via wi-fi network. Design and software of the module supports data encryption standard WEP, WPA, WPA2, AES, and WAPI TKIP and DHCP protocols, NMEA and U-Blox 6.
