Installation and connection of the WiFi roller shutter switch
The Sonoff Orb-RBS requires a live wire (L), a neutral wire (N), and two motor control outputs (Forward and Reverse). It is designed for AC motors powered from 100V to 240V with a maximum current consumption of 1A . It is recommended to use a 1A overcurrent protection device upstream of the device. It can be mounted in type 86 and round 60mm diameter junction boxes . Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician with the power disconnected.
The switch is suitable for installation in type 86 boxes and popular round boxes with a diameter of 60 mm.
Sonoff MINI-RBS-E works in the Matter over WiFi standard.
Compatibility with Smart Home applications and systems
Thanks to the Matter standard, the switch is compatible with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and Home Assistant . Scanning the Matter QR code allows the device to be added directly to the selected ecosystem. Percentage control is available on select platforms, and basic opening and closing functions are supported on all compatible systems. The device allows for the creation of schedules, automation scenes, and integration with smart home sensors .
