The vast majority of work on printed circuit boards requires the involvement of both hands from the assembler or service technician. Therefore, it is not possible to hold the board tightly while soldering, drilling or disassembling. This task is taken over by the electronics engineer using the appropriate mounting bracket. In our store you will find mechanical holders for servicing PCBs, equipped with a spring and special cutouts. While the spring applies light pressure to the plate, the notches hold it in place, ensuring it sits securely in the holder in a horizontal position. However, if you need to position the PCB or laminate at an angle for your current work, choose a mounting stand. The stand holds the plate on two edges, but the holders can be rotated to any position (adjustment range covers the full 3600). Or maybe you are looking for a tool that will allow you to hold the processed materials with greater force? In such a situation, choose quick-release clamps available in our store with a force ranging from 30 to even 300 kg.
Precision above all
Anyone who has ever soldered SMD components knows that in electronics, even the best human eye is not enough. That's why service technicians and PCB assemblers often use magnifying glasses in their work. Our offer includes traditional or LED-lit glass magnifiers, but also "third hand" holders equipped with an additional magnifying glass. The latter solution is perfect for very precise work - the clamps hold the item being processed, and the position of the magnifying glass can be adjusted thanks to the appropriate positioning of its boom. In addition to the version with a magnifying glass, "third hand" handles are also available with just pliers, most often double ones. If you want full control over the positioning of elements of any shape and size, use the six-armed "third hand" with flexible arms.
Other useful accessories
In an electronics workshop, you will also need a soldering iron stand, thanks to which you will not have to worry about accidentally burning the worktop with the heated tip. It is also worth purchasing a stand for a tin roll. Holders and magnifiers for electronics - FAQ
The soldering holder allows you to stably hold, among others: boards being soldered or desoldered. A stable position of the prototype board during operation has a direct impact on the precision of soldering. When choosing a mounting bracket, first of all, pay attention to the size of the handle and the method of adjusting the spacing (usually via a knob). Selected models of soldering holders are equipped with additional cutouts that guarantee the stability of the board.
The number and type of soldering accessories depend on the soldering method. The most frequently used accessories include: tin, soldering paste, a cleaner for cleaning the tip, rosin, flux , a handle also called the third hand, a magnifying glass, spare tips, suction devices and braids . In addition, ESD mats and ESD brushes are also used during soldering.
