Pine64 minicomputers offer excellent computing performance and a number of possibilities not found in the vast majority of other models of SBC modules. While a significant number of popular minicomputers use microSD cards or (which is somewhat less common) optional eMMC modules as a "hard drive", the Pine64 series devices allow you to connect a full-fledged M.2 drive or one or two SATA3 drives. Expanding the computer with additional modules, however, is associated with a significant increase in power consumption. Therefore, Pine64 designers have provided for the possibility of powering the Quartz64 Model-A and ROCKPro64 modules with a powerful 12 V power supply.
