The xTool F2 is a modern, portable laser engraver designed for service companies, craftspeople, and retailers of personalized products. Combining a 15W diode laser with a 5W (1064nm) infrared laser, it enables both cutting organic materials and precise marking of metals. The standard working area is 115 x 115mm , perfect for personalizing small items like key rings, medallions, and nameplates. With the optional Slide Extension, the working area increases to 115 x 400mm. A built-in 50MPx camera with autofocus provides a full view of the work area and positioning accuracy down to 0.1mm for small items. Autofocus makes it easy to get started, and a maximum speed of up to 6000mm/s reduces turnaround times and increases batch production efficiency. The F2 is compatible with xTool Studio software (Windows/macOS) and supports Wi-Fi and USB connectivity. The engraving machine features a compact, closed design with a shield that filters laser radiation , ensuring safe operation anywhere.

The xTool F2 is a portable laser engraver equipped with two independent light sources: a 15W diode laser and a 5W infrared laser with a wavelength of 1064 nm . This combination allows for processing over 300 materials , including wood , MDF, leather, felt, dark acrylics, and metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, titanium, gold, and silver. The IR laser enables precise marking, blackening, and engraving of high-contrast details , while the diode module is responsible for cutting and 3D relief in organic materials . A maximum operating speed of up to 6000 mm/s significantly increases order fulfillment efficiency. This solution combines mobility with parameters similar to larger stationary systems.
Versatile operation and serial production
The standard working area of the device is 115 x 115 mm , which is suitable for personalizing small elements such as key rings, medallions or nameplates. With the optional Slide Extension, the work area increases to 115 x 400 mm , enabling the processing of long workpieces and the production of multiple details in a single run. The maximum workpiece height is 120 mm , and with the use of separately available rotary attachments, cylindrical workpieces up to 120 mm in diameter can be engraved. The device can cut plywood up to 15 mm and acrylic up to 12 mm in multiple passes. These parameters allow for the combination of individual customization and short production runs.
The 5W IR laser produces durable and contrasting markings on gold, silver, stainless steel and titanium, while the 15W diode laser allows for cutting in wood up to 15mm thick.
The integrated 50 MPx camera provides a full view of the working field in real time.

The built-in 50 MPx camera provides a preview of the entire work area , allowing you to see the design directly on the material before starting work. The system offers positioning accuracy of up to 0.1 mm for small parts , reducing material waste and the risk of errors. Autofocus automatically adjusts the head height to the workpiece , reducing setup time. The 0.08 mm x 0.06 mm (15 W) and 0.03 mm x 0.03 mm (5 W IR) laser spot enables the creation of fine, sharp lines and high-resolution details. A movement accuracy of 0.00199 mm ensures repeatability even in mass production.
Software, connectivity and xTool accessory compatibility
The engraving machine works with xTool Studio software , available for Windows and macOS, integrating design, parameter settings, and device control in a single environment. Supported file formats include SVG, DXF, JPG, PNG, and BMP , and communication is via Wi-Fi or USB . The device is compatible with F1 series accessories , including the workspace extension, RA2 Pro and RA3 rotary attachments, a foot pedal, and an air purifier. The design, with a radiation shield and built-in ventilation system, increases safety and comfort.
