For work to be more enjoyable and effective, we need to organize the surroundings. This applies to every workplace, whether it be a professional mechanic's workshop or a small do-it-yourself station in a home garage. All tools and accessories should have their own place, so it will be easier to find them, which definitely speeds up many activities. In this way we also avoid losing small elements, such as screws or small metal washers. To organize your workspace, we use organizers with practical dividers and mobile workshop boxes. Both options are a good solution and it is worth combining them, because we can use them in a different way. The toolboxes will help you to keep your workshop tidy, while the boxes will allow you to take useful tools with you e.g. to your car or to any other place where you want to repair or check something. Toolboxes and organizers should be adapted in terms of capacity and workmanship to the conditions and specifics of your work. Only then will they perform their function properly and improve your daily tinkering, repairing and prototyping.

How to choose a toolbox?
The toolbox is very mobile. We can take the tools with us virtually anywhere - in the car, garden, on the plot, at a colleague's house or just to a customer who has ordered service or repair services from us. Toolboxes vary in size. Smaller ones are a good place to store small and basic tools like hammer, screwdriver and pliers. In bigger ones we are able to pack already the power tools, like a drill or soldering iron. There are also very large models, which we can call a portable workshop. However, we recommend them only to those electricians, electronics engineers and DIY enthusiasts who provide professional services with access to the customer. They often consist of several parts, including drawers and partitions. This enables segregation of tools, accessories and consumables.
Toolboxes are made of different materials. The simplest are plastic boxes, which are characterized by low weight, but also reduced resistance to damage. However, they will be a good choice for storing smaller, basic tools. Metal boxes weigh more, but they are also more durable and we can store heavier items in them. Aluminium toolboxes are lighter, but extremely durable, and they are lightweight and comfortable to transport. We select the boxes taking into account the number of devices and accessories, as well as the place where it will be used. Smaller plastic boxes work well at home, while for professionals metal and aluminum boxes with a larger capacity.
Boxes for organizing the workshop space
Unlike toolboxes, the organizers are most often used in workshops, garages and employees, they are not mobile, so they are recommended for stationary work. They are very practical, consist of several compartments, sometimes additional drawers and are used to segregate tools, electronic equipment and accessories. Another organizer will be used to store trinkets, such as screws, micro switches or screws, and another for hammers, choppers and screwdrivers. You should adjust the size of the partitions to the size of the elements you will eventually find in them. Organizers can have both vertical and horizontal orientation. The first ones will be good for hanging on the wall and placing in a cabinet. Vertical ones will help you tidy up your drawers. Most organizers are made of plastic, which makes them lightweight and thus more mobile and more comfortable to use. They also differ in general dimensions. This is important if you have limited space in your workshop or want to store tools in cabinets or drawers. We always take measurements before buying, to avoid surprises, and then find out that the organiser does not fit into the cupboard.
