Product description: MyoWare 2 Muscle Sensor - development kit for measuring muscle activity (EMG) - SparkFun KIT-27920
The MyoWare 2 Muscle Sensor is a complete development kit for measuring muscle activity (EMG) , designed for education, prototyping, and research and development projects. The kit is fully compatible with Arduino platforms and allows for quick testing of various MyoWare 2 system configurations without the need for soldering. The MyoWare 2 sensor measures surface electromyography (sEMG) by analyzing the electrical signals generated by muscles during contraction. The stronger the muscle contraction, the higher the output signal. Data can be visualized using a dedicated LED display or read as an analog signal by a microcontroller. The EMG electrodes are intended for single use.
Attention!
MyoWare 2.0 and Cable Shield are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent disease or other conditions in humans or other animals.
