Product description: Valve with water consumption measurement ZigBee - Tuya RTX ZVG2
Intelligent wireless valve with water consumption measurement function. The RTX ZVG2 valve for communication uses the ZigBee 3.0 standard, a dedicated Tuya gate is required for proper operation. The valve is powered by four 1.5 V AA alkaline batteries . The valve's tightness class is IP66 , which makes it resistant to rainfall and larger splashes. The output water pressure from the valve is 0.8MPa. The valve can be controlled from the free application for Tuya or Smart Life mobile devices, the application also includes measurement data of water consumption. The valve measures with an accuracy of +/- 1 L / 30 days.
To work properly, the device requires connection to the ZigBee gateway , which can be purchased separately.

What is ZigBee?
ZigBee is a mesh and cluster tree wireless communication standard. It ensures stable communication between the gateway and individual system components. This standard is characterized by low energy consumption and low data transmission speeds. ZigBee devices are divided into three types :
- coordinator - for each network there can be only one such device, to which other devices can connect
- router - forwards packets, some ZigBee devices can act as a router (e.g. light bulb, module with a relay), thus extending the range of the ZigBee network
- end device - sends data to the router to which it is connected, it can be temporarily put to sleep to reduce energy consumption
