Product description: ZigBee water consumption measuring valve - Tuya RTX ZVG2
A smart wireless valve with water consumption measurement . The RTX ZVG2 valve uses the ZigBee 3.0 standard for communication; a dedicated Tuya gateway is required for proper operation. The valve is powered by four 1.5V AA alkaline batteries . The valve's IP66 rating makes it resistant to rain and heavy splashes. The valve can be controlled via the free Tuya or Smart Life mobile app, which also provides water consumption data. The valve measures with an accuracy of +/- 1 L / 30 days.
To work properly, the device requires connection to a ZigBee gateway , which can be purchased separately.

What is ZigBee?
ZigBee is a mesh, cluster tree wireless communication standard. It ensures stable communication between the gateway and individual system components. This standard is characterized by low power consumption and low data transmission rates. ZigBee devices are divided into three types :
- coordinator - for each network there can be only one such device to which other devices connect
- router - forwards packets, some ZigBee devices can act as a router (e.g. a light bulb, a module with a relay), thus extending the range of the ZigBee network
- end device - transmits data to the router to which it is connected, can be temporarily put to sleep to reduce energy consumption
