LED lamps are electrical light sources that use light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to produce light. Like compact fluorescent lamps, they are energy-saving light sources (ESL). The service life of LED illuminants is stated as up to 50,000 hours as compared to conventional incandescent lamps which achieve a service life of only around 1000 hours. In addition, LED lamps require less electrical power for the same brightness. They therefore achieve a higher energy efficiency (better luminous efficacy). Although they generally have higher investment costs, they are much more economical than most other lamps because of their lower operating costs which are energy costs and replacement costs. LED bulbs and lamps for all applications – which LED lighting should you choose?
After over 100 years of classic light bulbs, LED bulbs took over at the beginning of the 21st century. In this category, we have included various types of bulbs, differing in shape (round and flat bulbs, candles, etc.), color (warm, cold or neutral white light, RGB) and mounting (E14, E27, G9 or GU10 thread).
LED bulbs – additional information
Compared to a classic filament bulb, the LED bulb has a much longer lifespan. The LED bulb can be successfully used for general lighting regardless of the category of the room. However, it is worth remembering that the light temperature (warm, neutral or cold light color) should be adapted to the type of room.
The most advanced models have a built-in WiFi module, allowing remote control of the bulb's operating parameters. We also have a wide selection of LED lamps, including illuminators for outdoor use, as well as indoor hanging lamps, a portable LED lamp and table models.
Other types of LED lighting
However, the applications of LED lighting do not end with substitutes for classic light bulbs or fluorescent lamps. LED signaling devices are becoming more and more widely used, serving as "beacons" for motor vehicles or gate automation systems.
LED lighting for bicycles has quite a long history, because due to very low power consumption while maintaining high efficiency, rear lights and headlights are eagerly used by both bicycle enthusiasts and professional cyclists.

The type of LED elements depends on the required power and lighting distribution. LED strips are perfect for illuminating stairs, skirting boards, linear elements of the facade or furniture edges, and as spot lighting it is worth considering using small LED modules and bulbs .
The popularity of LED lighting results not only from the possibility of flexible shaping of the light color, but also from its efficiency - for example, a typical LED bulb requires approximately 10 times lower power than a conventional bulb with a similar luminous flux.
LED lighting is much more friendly to people and animals than other types of light sources (e.g. fluorescent lamps). However, please remember that too strong a stream of LED light directed at the retina may damage it. Moreover, application Low-quality LED power supplies and dimmers may cause discomfort due to the irritating flickering effect.
