Inspection cameras and related equipment

Traditionally, inspection cameras are usually referred to as technical and industrial endoscopes (boroscopes), which are used primarily to diagnose defects in hard-to-reach places (for example, inside sewer pipes). However, the name is also sometimes used to refer to intelligent video inspection cameras that are part of vision systems in home automation or industry.

Endoscopes and microscopes

Endoscopes are great for when you need to see, film, or photograph the inside of hard-to-reach places - such as when your home plumbing breaks down or your car needs to be repaired. The camera of an endoscope is placed at the end of a long, flexible cable. In the case of this type of device the most important thing is resistance to adverse conditions (especially water, dust and high temperature), as well as having its own light source. Another useful feature is the ability to display the image on a computer screen. Smart cameras

Smart cameras can detect movement and objects, making them an essential part of home and industrial automation systems. Models available in this category have many useful options, including communication via WiFi and 3G, recording in the dark and conducting conversations thanks to a built-in microphone and speaker.
