Description

Shield extending the capabilities of the camera OpenMV Cam M7 with additional connectors for connecting the sensors and modules from the Gravity series. Board is equipped with a microUSB port used to 5 V power supply, and the power switch of 3.3 V / VIN that allows you to connect servos or engines. It has digital ports, analog, serial and I2C.

Attention

  • The USB port is only for powering the chip, you can't program through it. The manufacturer recommends a 5 V / 1 A voltage.
  • When you install the board on the camera, you should pay attention to the location of the USB port, it must be in the same place that the USB port of the camera.
  • OpenMV board works with a voltage of 3.3 V so the analog inputs do not support 5 V. All signal pins have a voltage of 3.3 V.
  • In the case of using a motor or servo to a project, they must be powered through ports P7 - P9, connecting external power and switching the power supply to the VIN page.
  • Ports P7, P8, P9 can be supplied with the voltage of 3.3 V, or VIN, selection is via switch.
