Description
Module from the Grove series is based on a reflective sensor ITR9909. It consists of LED emitting the infrared light and phototransistor of high sensitivity. Bright objects in front of the sensor will reflect more infrared light and generate more energy in phototransistorze than objects with dark surfaces. It is supplied with the voltage from 3.3 V to 5 V. The range is from 75 to 400 mm. It has a digital output, making it compatible with most commissioning modules, including Raspberry Pi and Arduino.
Connection
The module is equipped with Grove interface facilitating its connection to the Arduino along with Base Shield v2.0 or Raspberry with Hat from GrovePi+.
