These small devices hide enormous possibilities in their housing. They are responsible for converting the rotational motion into an electrical signal that allows you to determine the exact angular position, offset and number of revolutions. Encoders are rotational-pulse converters. They generate impulses under the influence of shaft rotation. They convert motion into an electrical signal, so it can be used to determine angular displacements, rotational speed or linear displacement. They are divided into incremental and absolute.
