Description: Serial Basic - USB-UART converter CH340G - microUSB socket - SparkFun DEV-14050
Converter based on CH340 chip enables communication between USB and UART interfaces. It allows to exchange data between computer and microcontroller. The board can be used as a general purpose serial debugging device (e.g. with a GPS module). There is a jumperon the board that controls the 3.3 V or 5 V output voltage.
The module can be used to exchange data between a computer and a microcontroller system or to program electronic kits with a derived serial interface e.g. Arduino or STM32Discovery.
Pinouts of the converter
The chip has eight pins, goldpin strip with 2.54mm pitch can be purchased separately and soldered by yourself.
