The Waveshare module with the multi-functional Bosch BME680 environmental sensor enables measurement of temperature , humidity , atmospheric pressure and detection of the presence of volatile organic compounds . This type of sensor is used in intelligent building devices or devices intended for environmental and air quality analysis. It allows you to measure temperature in the range from -40°C to 85°C with an accuracy of +/- 1°C, humidity from 0% to 100% relative humidity with an accuracy of ±3% and pressure from 300 hPa to 1100 hPa with an accuracy of ±0.6 hPa. It communicates with a microcontroller or minicomputer using the I2C or SPI interface. The built-in logic level converter ensures correct operation with voltages of 3.3 V and 5 V.
The sensor is compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi!

Description of the module pins
The I2C and SPI interfaces used for communication with the module are provided on the 6-pin JST connector. Additionally, the user has pins at their disposal that allow them to solder their own wires. These include:
- CS - Chip Select SPI interface
- ADDR/MISO - I2C address or SPI data pin
- SCL/SCK - clock of both interfaces
- SDA/MOSI - data pin of the I2C and SPI interfaces
- GND - common ground of the system
- VCC - supply voltage - 3.3 V or 5 V
