In addition to quantities such as wind speed, rainfall intensity, air density and temperature, the measurement of atmospheric pressure is important. If you need to accurately determine weather conditions, it is definitely worth choosing the appropriate diagnostic equipment and air pressure sensor.
Modern electronics include practical analog and digital atmospheric pressure sensor modules that enable accurate measurement. Their measurement range includes both low and high pressure. The pressure value can be displayed, e.g. on a connected screen.
Modern barometric sensors compatible with embedded systems
The Botland store offers a wide range of precise pressure sensors from renowned manufacturers such as Adafruit, DFRobot and Polou . These sensors use high-quality Bosch piezoelectric transducers of the BMP3XY family in their circuits, which enable height measurement with an accuracy of 0.1 m. I2C and SPI buses allow sensor modules to work with Arduino - there are also libraries dedicated to supporting digital barometers. The accuracy of pressure measurement in the sensors we offer is 8Pa.
Digital air pressure sensors for embedded systems can be successfully used in the design of weather stations and in drones and other remotely controlled aircraft models. P
Additionally, the Adafruit BMP388 sensor module available in our offer enables temperature measurement with an accuracy of ±0.5°C. Using the appropriate source code uploaded to Arduino , external modules can be used for more advanced measurements, e.g. as differential pressure sensors.
How does a tire pressure sensor work? Information about the pressure status is sent to the on-board computer and displayed on the dashboard (or more precisely, on the display) of your car. Too low tire pressure poses a danger to both the driver and passengers, as well as other road users. In case of low pressure, the vehicle may be unstable, e.g. when cornering tight.
