3D printing using FFF/FDM technology requires heating the thermoplastic material (filament) to the appropriate temperature. Exposure to high temperature causes the filament to change from solid to liquid. The active element responsible for raising the temperature is the heater, which is located in the heating block. In this section, we offer a wide selection of heaters for 3D printers that are distinguished by high quality workmanship, and thus long life, even in the case of intensive use. We offer, among others original spare parts in the form of heaters, which guarantee full compatibility with selected models of 3D printers. Some heaters are compatible with only one, while others with several different 3D printing devices.
The construction of selected 3D printers has been designed in such a way that the replacement of consumables, including the heater, is quick and trouble-free. The range in this category includes Creality printer heaters are equipped with a cord that ends with a plug. This solution means that disassembly of the defective heater and installation of the new one does not require soldering.
Types of heaters for 3D printers in the assortment of the Botland store
The individual models of heaters available in our store differ not only in compatibility with selected printer models, but also in power. We offer, among others 40W and 50W heaters and 24V operating voltage. Some of them are terminated with a cable with a two-pin JST XH 2.54 plug.
When should the heater in a 3D printer be replaced?
The heater is one of the operating elements of the 3D printer, which is subject to gradual wear during use. The first signal to replace this element is too long time to reach the desired temperature (longer than usual). In addition, in a situation where it is not possible to achieve the set temperature at all, then most likely the heater should be replaced with a new one.
