Single-board minicomputers from the Odyssey series have gained considerable popularity on the SBC module market, mainly due to high performance and - which is still rather rare in this product segment - the architecture used in them. It should be noted that the vast majority of popular minicomputers in the lower and middle price segment (as well as many efficient SBC computers from the top shelf) are based on the ARM architecture - perfectly suitable for cooperation with various Linux distributions (including Android), but preventing the launch of programs compiled for typical "PC" architectures (x86, x64). Odyssey minicomputers effectively fill this market gap, because they are based on modern and very efficient Intel Celeron processors, and even - in more advanced models - Intel Core i3.

Odyssey minicomputers are a proposal for those users who are looking for an efficient computing unit for the needs of advanced embedded systems. Modules from the X86J4 series are in the form of a small motherboard with a quad-core Intel Celeron processor, supported by a low-level coprocessor with ARM architecture. Interestingly, this role is played either by the popular ATSAMD21, or - in the case of the X86J4125864 model - by the latest RP2040 from the Raspberry Pi stable. Such a marriage of a powerful 64-bit processor with a classic microcontroller gives users powerful flexibility in designing software architecture. Instead of burdening the CPU with simple but time-consuming tasks related to drive control or measurement using sensors, in this case we can "offload" low-level operations to the microcontroller, and leave 64-bit Intel to handle the operating system, multimedia, network connections or advanced calculations. It is worth noting that the minicomputers available in our offer are sold with pre-installed Windows 11 Pro or Windows 10 Enterprise, which greatly facilitates and speeds up the start of working with the Odyssey platform.
Ready minicomputers in the Botland offer
In addition to Seeedstudio single-board minicomputers, our offer also includes ready-made computers based on the same motherboards, but also equipped with aesthetic and modern housings, ensuring excellent protection of electronics against mechanical damage. The efficient servers from the reServer series - based on the 11th generation Intel® Core™ i3 processor and equipped with built-in SSDs - also fell into the same category.
