Single-board minicomputers from the Odyssey series have gained considerable popularity on the SBC module market, mainly due to high performance and - which is still rather rare in this product segment - the architecture used in them. It should be noted that the vast majority of popular minicomputers in the lower and middle price segment (as well as many efficient SBC computers from the top shelf) are based on the ARM architecture - perfectly suitable for cooperation with various Linux distributions (including Android), but preventing the launch of programs compiled for typical "PC" architectures (x86, x64). Odyssey minicomputers effectively fill this market gap, because they are based on modern and very efficient Intel Celeron processors, and even - in more advanced models - Intel Core i3.
