Odyssey minicomputers - uncompromising performance and application flexibility
The approach of the creators of the Odyssey minicomputers to the design of modern embedded systems can be easily traced on the example of the excellent X86J4125864 module (available in our offer). The computer is based on the quad-core Intel Celeron J4125 Quad-Core processor clocked at 2.0...2.7 GHz and equipped with 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Intel UHD Graphics 600 provides efficient support for modern operating systems (including Windows 10 Enterprise), and the built-in Dual Gigabit Ethernet module is perfect for server projects (e.g. NAS file servers), 4G LTE network gateways or virtual routers. The computer works seamlessly with the OpenWRT system and the pfSense firewall, and the capabilities provided by the dual Ethernet port are supported by the built-in dual-band 2.4 GHz/5 GHz WiFi module, which also supports Bluetooth 5.0. The role of the hard drive is a fast eMMC module with a capacity of up to 64 GB, located on the minicomputer board.
Great peripheral possibilities
The basic components and basic peripheral interfaces of the Odyssey X86J4125864 minicomputer are still not everything - its application possibilities are also determined by the excellent equipment, tailored to the demanding low-level applications. On the board there is an Arduino ATSAMD21 coprocessor - a microcontroller with a Cortex ARM M0+ core, enabling the implementation of various tasks related to work in the real-time regime (measurements using external sensors, drive control, etc.), which is additionally facilitated by GPIO connectors (40-pin and 28-pin) and sockets for modules from the Grove system.
