It has a built-in ARM Cortex-A72 processor with a Broadcom BCM2711 chip and a clock frequency of 1.8 GHz and 4 GB of LPDDR4-3200 RAM . It communicates wirelessly via a dual-band WiFi DualBand 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ac network link and via Bluetooth 5.0 . Raspberry Pi 400 has been designed with mobility in mind for German-speaking users, offering a convenient platform for surfing the Internet, editing documents and watching movies.

Operating system for Raspberry Pi OS
Raspberry Pi OS is an advanced operating system designed specifically for Raspberry Pi devices, including the 400 model. It offers an intuitive graphical environment, rich in educational applications and programming tools . Users can take advantage of thousands of available packages using the APT package manager, enjoy media playback in up to 4K quality, browse the Internet using the integrated browser, and use a wide range of communication tools.
The device is equipped with a slot for microSD memory cards, which serve as an operating system carrier. Our offer includes memory cards with the Raspberry Pi OS system already installed , which greatly simplifies the process of starting work with the device. Additionally, for users who prefer a more individual approach, there is an option to independently install another operating system, e.g. Windows 10 IoT .

The device is equipped with popular communication interfaces that can also be found in traditional PC computers or laptops, including:
- 2 microHDMI connectors - used to connect two screens with a resolution of up to 4K.
- 2 USB 3.0 connectors and 1 USB 2.0 connector - allow you to connect various USB accessories, such as a mouse, WiFi network card. USB 3.0 allows for fast data transfer from an external drive.
- Gigabit Ethernet socket - provides Internet connection at a speed of up to 1 Gb/s via the RJ45 connector.
- WiFi module - dual-band 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz 802.11./g/n/ac communication - works with drivers built into Raspberry Pi OS.
- Bluetooth 5 module - popular wireless communication in the 5.0 standard.
- GPIO - 40 general-purpose input/output pins, including interfaces such as: I2C, SPI, UART. They are used, among others: for connecting LEDs, buttons, various types of sensors.
It allows you to connect up to two monitors via microHDMI ports.
