DC power supplies for DIN rail installation
DIN rail power supplies are basic power supply devices, used wherever standard DIN rails are used to install equipment - in automation, telecommunications or power engineering. DIN rail power supplies are usually based on an AC-DC converter, i.e. one that provides an input with AC voltage and an output with stabilized DC voltage, e.g. 12V, which is often used in data communication systems.

What is a DIN rail? It is a metal bracket of standard type widely used for mounting circuit breakers and industrial control devices inside racks. These rails are usually made of sheet steel with a galvanized or chromed finish. Although these rails are metal, they are intended for mechanical support only and are not used as conductor rails, although they may provide a ground connection. DIN rail power supplies are manufactured in plastic enclosures with double insulation, but assume that the DIN rail is connected to earth potential. Remember, however, that such a connection is not a substitute for a collective grounding point, to which all other ground points in the system must be connected, including those of the DIN power supply.
Wide range of electrical parameters
The DIN rail power supplies available in our store are characterized by a wide range of parameters when it comes to input and output voltages as well as system power. All DIN rail power supplies available in our offer are adapted to work with alternating input voltage of 230V, i.e. the voltage found in sockets in Poland. The difference between individual models lies in the range of permissible voltages. Some of them are dedicated to work only with 230V (200V - 240V), and some of them are designed as universal and work properly with a wider range of input voltages (e.g. 90V - 264V). Output voltage is stabilized at 5V, 12V or 24V. These are typical voltages used in industrial and data communication systems. Compact power supplies for industrial installations
Thanks to the use of switching inverters, DIN rail power supplies, even of high power, have a small volume and therefore do not take up much space on the rail. Using a DIN rail power supply, such as a 12 V power supply, can take up much less space in an installation cabinet than installing a dedicated plug-in power supply or another type of power supply in a dedicated enclosure. In addition, thanks to the use of ARK screw connectors, only minimal space is needed to connect the cables to the power supplies, and the cables themselves do not need to be fitted with any special connectors.
