UPS Uninterruptible Power Supplies
Uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) are devices that are designed to maintain and temporarily keep other devices powered in the event that the mains power fails or has abnormal parameters. The protected devices are connected directly to the network, which, however, is constantly monitored. If any irregularities are detected, the mains is disconnected in a very short time, and power is supplied by the PSU from the battery - the whole process usually takes from 2 ms to 10 ms. The uninterruptible power supply is equipped with a built-in inverter, thanks to which the device converts the DC voltage from the battery into AC voltage at the output. During standby a discharged battery is charged with a small current. However, if the battery is full, a small amount of electricity is only needed to power the control system, which monitors the status of the entire system. Such a system makes that energy losses are minimized and the system does not generate major maintenance costs. The type of UPS described is Offline.
Application of UPS units
These types of devices are often used in homes, for example to protect the operation of a computer. A sudden power cut from a desktop computer can end up with damage to some of its components - one of the most common cases is data loss from the hard drive.
What do we offer in this category?
Our offer includes many types of UPS. These are products of Lanberg, OEM, Quer, VRLA with current capacities from 1.5 A to 8 A and nominal powers of 360 W, 480 W, 500 W, 600 W, 900 W, 1000 W, 1200 W, 2000 W. Some devices are equipped with displays and communication interfaces (RS-232, USB type B, RJ-45), an interface that allows management from a computer.
