The Xiao nRF52840 + Wio-SX1262 Meshtastic Kit from Seeedstudio is a combination of the Nordic nRF52840 microcontroller with FPU and the SX1262 LoRa module. It supports Bluetooth 5.0, Thread, ZigBee and LoRa (frequencies from 862 MHz to 930 MHz). The compact design (21 x 17.8 mm) includes an integrated antenna and features very low power consumption - < 5 µA in standby mode. The kit is compatible with Arduino IDE, CircuitPython and MicroPython and ideal for work in distributed networks.

Xiao nRF52840 provides: 1x UART, 1x I2C, 1x SPI (to SX1262), 1x NFC, 1x SWD, 11x GPIO (PWM) and 6x ADC . Wio-SX1262 is equipped with SPI (to Xiao) and user button. When GPS is not connected, the button sends information about the node. When GPS is connected - the button restarts the GPS module.
Meshtastic Support
The kit comes with pre-installed Meshtastic firmware and DFU (Drag & Drop) support via Web Flasher. Once connected to a computer, simply click "Enter DFU Mode" and upload the UF2 file. The kit works as a LoRa mesh node or router , offering a range of up to 2 km in cities and over 10 km in open terrain. It is possible to integrate with a GPS module, e.g. L76K , to create GPS trackers.
