SDK programming and support
The module is programmed via the nRF Connect SDK and PlatformIO with Zephyr RTOS support . The module does not support the Arduino IDE . Nordic Semiconductor's SDK ecosystem offers numerous examples, drivers, and libraries , allowing you to quickly build IoT solutions, including support for BLE, Thread, ZigBee, and hardware security. Integration with VS Code allows for comfortable work in a complex environment.
Differences between Xiao nRF54L15 and Sense version
The Xiao nRF54L15 Sense version has been enhanced with two key components: a PDM digital microphone and a 6-axis IMU sensor (LSM6DS3TR-C) . This enables projects based on sound analysis and motion detection. Compared to the standard Xiao nRF54L15 model, the Sense version offers identical performance, communication features, and pinout , but also expands application possibilities in areas such as wearables, HMIs, and gesture interfaces. Both versions are fully compatible with the nRF Connect SDK and Zephyr RTOS.
